The Scientific Magazine GeoLatitud, in its first issue of 2020, aware of the importance of earth science for the development of the population. He has selected three articles that present to the scientific and academic community of Ecuador and the region, data and information that contributes to the strengthening of these areas of study.

This new issue presents three scientific articles that address the following topics: Geology and identification of mineralization, a description is made of the minerals found in the rocks that fit into the goldfields of the Bella Rica sector, this study collects samples from four tasks mining companies in the sector.

The following article refers to the Zoning Map of the Susceptibility to Mass Movements, scale 1:50 000, of the Zaruma-Paccha area, due to its scope the results serve as a reliable source for the authorities and institutions in charge of managing the at the same time for regional planning and use of the territory.

Besides, an analysis of mining and economics is made, specifically referring to circular economy strategies in the construction sector. Considerations are presented regarding how to regulate, authorize and control the exploitation of arid and stony materials of the Decentralized Autonomous Governments.

 GeoLatitud is an annual scientific magazine with biannual editions focused on Geology, Mining and Metallurgy topics.
